Snack time! I'm trying to eat healthier, and I love hot sauce, so instead of reaching for chips or sweets, I made a super quick, easy, and healthier choice: chickpea Buffalo dip, or a sort of buffalo hummus, if you will.
Simply drain and rinse a can of chickpeas (15-16 oz) then pop in a blender or food processor with about ¼ cup hot sauce (I used Frank’s RedHot, and you can use more or less to cater to your own preference), ¼ cup Forager Project unsweetened yogurt OR Miyoko's cultured cream cheese, 2 TBSP nutritional yeast and ½ tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and ACV.
Use as dip with veggies for a healthier choice. I used celery but use carrot sticks, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower or whatever you wish -- even apple slices. You can also use crackers, chips, pita wedges, French bread or anything else, but it's obviously healthier with veggies.
You'll get a hefty three or four servings of this dip, and you can pretty much eat as much of it as you want without feeling guilty.
